Our Story

Built by someone who's done this for 25 years.

Kite didn't start as a relocation company. It started as 25 years of watching people arrive in Mexico City without the guidance they needed — and deciding to fix that.

The founder

"Mexico City is world-class. Your arrival should be too."

Born and raised in Mexico City. Since 2001, I've operated AMBRA — a real estate development company that's helped shape neighborhoods like Roma, Condesa, Escandón, and Polanco. Harvard Business School. Guest professor at UNAM's Faculty of Architecture.

Walking alongside expat clients over the years, I saw the same problem again and again: moving here isn't hard because Mexico City is difficult — it's hard because nobody hands you a map. The apartment search, the visa, the bank account, the first lonely month. People come with great expectations and get lost in the logistics.

Kite exists to be that map. Not another platform connecting you to strangers — an operator who owns the outcome, from the lease to the visa to the first friend you make here.

How we work

An operator, not a broker.

A broker connects supply to demand — they show you apartments, introduce you to lawyers, and step back once the deal closes. An operator owns the outcome. We find the apartment that fits your situation, manage your visa timeline so it aligns with your lease, and fix it when something breaks — because it's ours to fix, not yours.
